I recently had an alignment (again). I had a CV boot/axle changed so...had to do the alignment. The wear is on the inner part of the tire...i'm not sure what has caused it since I've been rotating and keeping the car aligned. 1996 nissan quest.

thanks.

Overinflated tires is another possibility.

Wear on the inside of the tire is due to excessive negative camber, or too much toe out. SInce an align was recently done, it sounds very likely you have some worn control arm bushings or ball joint working against you. Return to the align shop and have them double check. Checking the front end is part of a proper alignment, perhaps the guy was new or in a hurry though. Also, be sure to get the before and after printout. Then it will be easier to see what's going on.

Sorry to say...Once a tire starts to wear badly it will continue to do so even after it has been rotated and the vehicle repair has been completed.
The wear could be the result of a problem that occurred long ago.

Dude it could be alot of things. It be from your driving, something rubbing inside the tire well. Or your tires could be outta balance.
Something may knocked out of place and now it's rubbing against your tire.
