First of all the leak will not cause this. The 2 people that told you the exhaust valve, doesn`t know. First, I would replace the Mass, then check the Throttle Position Sensor, Trust me its one of those sensor.

More info needed (car, engine size, mileage) to assess the mass air meter. I had a computer tell me it was the maf and I changed it , to the tune of about 200 dollars. Turns out it was the fuel pump......that said....
Where is it leaking antifreeze? If it is around the intake, you have a real good chance of it being the intake gaskets. Which in turn cause a vacuum leak, which makes it rev like you state. A real simple test is this....
Take a can of carb cleaner and while the car is running, squirt a little around the intake. Do this one spot at a time. This will give you a sure sign of a vacuum leak, as the carb cleaner will make the engine rev up as it burns. Go slowly and methodically. If it is around the intake, you will find it with this method.
Provide more info and I can help you better diagnose your problem. Good luck! The Duck

It sounds like you have a leaking intake or head gasket which is causing a air leak or better known as a vacuum leak which would cause the car to rev in higher RPm's.
This is also very likely if your seeing antifreeze leak.
You better be sure there is none leaking into your engine oil cause this could cause major issues and break down your oil viscosity and cause the engine to lock up.
To check this pull out the oil dip stick (how you check your oil level) and if it has a creamy white look to it then you have antifreeze leaking into your oil.If you do, do not drive the car any longer till you get it fixed.

OK, THE SENSOR MAY BE MAKING THIS KIND OF SYMPTOM. SO U SHOULD REPLACE IT AT ONCE, THERE ARE MANY OTHER SENSORS THAT CAN MAKE THIS SYMPTOM (OXYGEN SENSOR, MAP, ETC)
THE LEAK SHOULD ALSO BE ATTENDED AT ONCE, BECAUSE IT COULD LEAD TO ENGINE DAMAGE. BETTER TO EXPEND $200 THAN $2,000
