Someone tried to do this to me, but I caught them in time I think.

I would report it to the police so if there are future repairs they can be made to pay.
Sugar in the tank or coke will only plug up the filter. It will no hurt the engine. If it even made it into the combustion chamber it would just burn off.
Modern cars have good filters and that should stop it. Unless you had an almost empty tank and they poored a LOT of coke into the tank you shouldn't have much to worry about.
As for me, I would notify the Police of the vandalism, then have a dealer change my fuel filter and flush the tank at the vandals cost. Can't hurt the car and might just teach the fool a lesson.

Only one way to find out, lol...I think it depends on how much gas you have in the car, and how much coke you put it, I think a single can with a full tank of gas would not disable it. Obviously the more your coke to gas ratio is, the less likely it is your car is gonna be runnin for very long. Hey if it kills it, you can always sue him and get a new car, lol....well good luck

Since coke is %80 sugar and %20 water, the 2 things that will destroy an engine, yes, it will disable your car. I would call the police o him and have hime put in jail for vandelism.

Not really... there are other things that can cause your engine to freeze up but coke ain't one of them.

yes it can ...have the fuel filter changed and the gas tank flushed and charge this vandal for the work or else call the cops and file charges

To be safe, I would put in a bottle of drygas (HEET) to make sure the water doesn't freeze.

you bet your bottom dollar it can. putting the least bit of sugar in your gas tank can cause your car to be ruined

It can cause serious problems and if caught this calprit, i receommend you should send them for prosecution!
