I was wondering if I could swap my current springs for the springs from a 06 Dodge 2500, or should I buy different springs all together or just try adding additional spring leafs. I am trying to keep this as inexpensive as possible but I definately need the capability to haul more weight.

The engine will rev 200-300 rpms while traveling at 60 mph plus even though pressure on the gas pedal is constant. Does the same thing even with the cruise control on. Recently had fuel system cleaned, spark plugs changed and new distributor cap. Thanks for any thoughts. 1998 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.2L V-8

The cost of repair was £800. I bought the car in March with an MOT for one year (was a computer MOT and can be found on DVLA website). The mileage was 73000 and the timing belt should have been definitely replaced (Vauxhall advises doing it after 40000m). Should I sue the garage that didn't fix it? it also says that they replaced the breaks but the it turned out after few months that I need new breaking pads! I want to get the money back, do i have a chance?

Hi. I live in a pretty cold state... knowing this, I went out to my car the other morning and it wouldn't quite crank completely. It's an older car... 1986 Buick Century to be exact. I'm not very knowledgable on cars so I don't know the proper terminology to give you. It would almost start but not quite crank over if that makes sense. My question is, would an engine heater do the trick, and if so, what could I do to get it started until next week when I can afford an engine heater? Thanks any advice is much appreciated here.

I have been getting shaking in my steering wheel at low speeds, especially when stopping and starting. It will shake back and forth. If I stop at a light, when Im accerlerating it will do it until I get up to speed. Once im up to speed it goes away. Also, I think that I may need to have my tires rotated and balanced. How much does this usually cost and could that possibly take care of the problem?

I need to buy winter tires. The manual calls for 195/70 SR 14 M+S tires.
Would 195/70 R 14 tires fit? or do I need to know more? A tire vendor tells me there is 11.5 mm between the first and third bolt on his tires and his 195/70 R 14 tires may not fit my wheel. Does anyone have an answer?
Thank you

My 1993 Chevey Cavilier produces the smell of antifreez when I switch on my heater ( I have to run the heater alot because it over heats, ive replaced thermasts and hoses, its not the water pump either...the cause of this problem is unknown. I do know a decent amount about cars but I keep my heat low and let the air under the hood circulate (?) to keep this minumim) The problem started last week, I turn on my heater and imidiatly the windows are fogged up with antifreez or mist....and then last night I head like...water boiling under the dash kinda the floors are dry theres no leakage under the steering. Im dreading it being my heater core is there anything else that could cause this? Along with that question how do I dignose if its my core or a hose? And also if I keep the heat off all together will it keep from going worse sooner? (To buy time to fix or sell the car?)

I'm looking at getting an RV. The guy says the only thing wrong with it is there's some leaking at the roof, but no damage has been done. Also, it's basically a one ton truck with a camper cabin (that's all the mid-size ones are right?), so is it possible to rewire just the stuff a normal truck would have (lights, engine fuse block, etc.) w/o having to get into the RV wiring?

My 1999 Crown Victoria Heater started blowing only cold air over the weekend. Seems to have plenty of coolant and doesn't seem to have any of the same symptoms as another ford vehicle I had to have heater core replaced on years ago. Engine Temperture seems normal. Can't figure it out.

i asked a question and people think its a blown head gasket. My car runs just as good as it did one year ago. No loss of horsepower. no excessive smoke from the exhaust. no water mixing with the oil. so can it still be the head gasket?

This is for a 1994 Buick Regal. I went to pop the hood open and the plastic release lever snapped. The cable appears to be fine, I only need to replace the lever.
