1996 Sunfire won't start?

Question

I think it as somthing to do with the fuel, I turn on the key and I can hear the fuel pump it cranks over good but won't catch sometimes it will sputter like it going to start but just wont pick it up.

If the pump runs try the fuel filter, then put in some fuel and injector cleaner, it has to have a certain pressure to crank.

If it's not the filter, the sock is plugged inside the tank.
