I am installing a new light fixture. When I read the instructions it says to connect the hot wire to the black wire and neutral to the white wire in the outlet box. My problem is when I split the wires on the light fixture, how to I tell which is the hot and which is the cold wire. The wire is the same color. There is some writing on one of the wires that come from the light. Is that the hot wire?

My Megane clutch has started to slip, only done 17000 miles.
Is it hydraulic or cable?
Can it be adjusted? If so, how?

Thanks in advance

I was driving and noticed that my engine had begun to rumble, as if exhaust was leaking from the manifold. I opened the hood and noticed a wire hanging just below the intake manifold. I don't have the precise vocabulary to describe it, but it looks to be the O2 Sensor. The funny thing is I can see the hole it appears to have come out of (the hole is on a pipe just below the engine and looks like it leads from the undercarriage to the front of the car...if that makes sense) The hold has a metal filter in the bottom of it, but I can't seem to put the plug back into the pipe; it is as though the plug perfected rusted off of the pipe. Does anyone know what I am referring to and what it might actually be called?
It might not be the O2 Sensor, but it is definitely a sensor of some time. It is part of the assembly of wires connecting the spark plugs, distributor cap, etc. There are two wires that connect to the "pipe" that I'm calling the "exhaust manifold".

i was just wondering about the rear-window wiper's function. one thing that i know that it's duty is to wipe the rain or dirt from the windscreen. but why can't i found a rear-window wiper on other type of cars other than the hatchbacks, station wagons, sport utility vehicles and sport cars? a car like this >> http://www.cardata.com/spoilers/images/bm-095_Pontiac_G6.jpg << doesn't have the rear-window wiper. but WHY a car like this >> http://www.benkerweb.de/autos/honda_jazz_hinten_rechts.jpg << has the rear-window wiper?! please ponder this guys..cos i really want to know!! :D thanks heaps.

I seem to have some sort of sticky material on my car windows that will not come off with windex or window cleaner. I am not sure what it is, but I think it most likely has something to do with trees, as the car is outside most of the time I am at school.

I recently brought a 1985 Nissin Bluebird and it has a bad lack of accelerating power. I don't know if it's related but the transmition fluid reads above the high level when the engine is cold, how do you drain it?
