My Megane clutch has started to slip, only done 17000 miles.
Is it hydraulic or cable?
Can it be adjusted? If so, how?

Thanks in advance

Guys, this car is 7 months old, I do virtually all my driving on the motorway and don't ride the clutch at lights.

take it back to the garage where you got it from as it should be still under warranty, a clutch in a new car should do well over 40,000 miles before it needs changing

It is a cable clutch . check to see if there any play in the cable there should be about half an inch if it is locked tight with no play there are two types on Meganes one is ajustable the other has none . ajust it if you can, if not the clutch has gone , or you have a rear engine seal gone and the oil leak has got onto your clutch plate , look underneath were the gearbox joines the engine if there is a oil drip coming from there you have your answer . Other than that , then the clutch has not been changed or you are heavier footed than you think

I know it's too late now but,
!.. DON'T HAVE YOUR FOOT ON THE CLUTCH PEDAL WHEN
DRIVING
2...DON'T SIT AT TRAFFIC LIGHTS SLIPPING THE CLUTCH----
PUT IT IN NEUTRAL
3. THE ONLY TIME YOUR CLUTCH SHOULD SLIP (AND WEAR)
IS WHEN YOU START OFF IN 1 st GEAR
You will learn or it will cost you dearly. Probably the temper is out of the clutch due to overheating when slipping.

Check the owners manual or if not there get an auto main book for your vehicle. Slippage with this low of mileage may mean that you are riding the clutch causing premature wear. Check your driving practices. For adjuctments check where the clutch is activated under your vehicle.

If your car is only 7 months old I would take it back to where you bought it and get them to sort this out - you should have warranty rights on a car that is not that old.

this car is under warranty, don't mess about get it back to the dealer. If you tamper with it your self you may be giving the dealer a reason to make the warranty null and void
