if you are reading the tempurature of the engine (hit the "info" button to the left of the steering wheel a few times to get to the engine temp, you can also see oil lifetime and something else in this menu), that is extreamly odd to have such a low reading, you will probably need a new thermostat.

That is likely the outside air temp that you are looking at. A car running at 74 degrees is unusually cold.

i think you have have been given a vacuum issue. If it replaced into your gasoline filter out you is additionally having issues at greater speeds which you do no longer. seem over all of those connections and examine the hoses for any cracks that could have split open from dry rot. in simple terms my opinion right here.

get one of those hand held infrared temperature sensors from Pep Boys, see if that says 74 deg.
