I think a two part epoxy ribbon (used for radiator repairs etc) may work because the "pressure" is air pressure pushing from the outside of the container inward toward the vacuum inside the container. The vacuum forms when the radiator cools down and sucks the coolant back into the radiator from the overflow bottle. Clean and roughen the surface to be patched well before kneading the two epoxy ribbons together and applying the putty like repair patch.

I believe if you go to a place like Auto Zone or Pep Boys there is an epoxy you can get for it.If you use glue or tape and it gets to cold or hot the glue and tape will fail you. Also you can go to a junk yard and just get a the part for a few bucks and replace it. Hope you have good luck

Like I have told many people on this forum before when you buy a foreign car be prepared to get soaked and joked for repair parts.....more than likely Autozone,. pep boys, NAPA, etc. will not have this part......first call several junk yards....maybe that part was interchangeable with other KIAs from that time period....more than likely I would say...why would you redesign an overflow bottle anyhow???? stay away from dealers like the plague...they will rip you off blind.....by the way since they are heavy plastic how were they going to fix it anyhow??? Call a bunch of junkyards, be patient and you will find it....ask the junkyards if the bottles they have are interchangeable with other KIA models.....

Since most overflow units are now pressurized you will need to buy a new one. Glues and tape will not hold the pressure.

go to an auto store, there is some real good adhesive in a tube, don't remember what it's called, but had the same thing happen, and used this stuff and it worked great. make sure that you give it time to set up before you refill your overflow container.
consider this a fix but remember to replace when you can.

You might give epoxy a shot, but not the regular stuff. Find some specially formulated for plastics and follow the directions. Many hardware stores or a marine dealer will have it.

you can use an epoxy to seal the crack in the plastic for a short term solution, but they really do not cost much, and it's better to replace it.

Just get a new one. Unless it's from a 1914 Rolls-Royce, it should be no problem.
