Last night i got stuck in the snow and started to smell a rubberlike smell.Shortly after that, my car's power steering felt like very hard to steer. Do u think i killed my power steering pump??HELP!

See if the belt that drives it is still there. If it is then check the fluid and see if it smells burnt. If it does then your pump is gone. If it looks like a strawberry milkshake then you got water in it. Take it to someone to replace the fluid.

Yep the smell was either your tires spinning or possible the belt and it broke off and no you have no belt. Open your hood and check it out. Your power steering pump should be good.

you spin the tires that's where the rubber smell come from
as for you power steering the belt might have gotten wet and slippery
or the belt is to loose

it depends, because some cars power steering are sensitive and some other cars sense the speed...

what brand and model do you have???

year, make and model? is it still in the snow bank or did you drive away? probably a belt
