I'm mainly asking this b/c I'm considering fighting a recent speeding ticket. All 4 tires are over 40K in mileage, but the rear ones are worse- they are balding. The reading I got for the rear tires was 23. The front was over 30. Is this in itself bad? Could my tires really blow out, especially if I were speeding? Thanks!

I know that there is a way to read out the trouble codes on vehicles without having to buy a Code Reader, but I don't know how to do it on my 2002 Grand Prix. Who knows how to read the code and what website should I go to to get an explanation of what the code means for this car?

I bought the car used (2002 Honda Accord) and it came with the starter (not from dealer- previous owner). I had the battery replaced and that didn't work. I just don't know where to turn next!

I alreadt asked a question on this but im going to elaborate more. I bought a repair kit for the carberuter in my 1979 Ford F-250 Ranger. I repaired it and put it back in. If i repaired it wrong or the hoses are not connected correctly, what will happen to the carberuter or other parts of the car? Is it safe to start it up and see if it runs?

I got my car's error codes read at a local auto parts store. It came back as P0128. I was told it could either be a thermostat or a temperature sending unit. The temperature seems to be fine - running in the normal range.

Any thoughts on how I should procede? Should I try changing one then the other or both at the same time? If one then the other, which one should I change first?

Thanks for any help/advice!

I own a 2000 Chevy Express Cargo Van and when ever it rains, it just will not start. The headlights are always dim when I'm driving and my two tail lights go out when I press the brakes. The center top light is the only brake light that is working.

I have a 6cyl. 1995 Thunderbird. My car has two catalytic converters. One was rattling for about a month (it has stopped since). When the catalytic converter goes bad and I keep running it like that, what will be the internal damage to the engine?

When i drive the car to a stop, like at a junction, the engine revs go very low before returning to normal, and sometimes the engine cuts out. When diving with the revs at about 2500 rpm, it seems to miss fire occationally.
I have replaced sparkplugs, leads, distributer cap and rotor arm.
I have also gone around i think all electrical connections.
The engine seems to rev freely and responsive, and nothing wrong with starting.
It is a 1.4ltr AEX engine, 1996 P reg.
Any ideas will be very greatfully recieved
