ur car is made of several different types of metal and other materials if u know anything about physics u understand that two moving parts create friction, friction inturn creates heat as engines heat up the components in the engine ie pistions valves cam lifter ect ect they absorb the heat and expand as they are made of metal. when they cool down the metal returns to its natural form and shape so the metal makes a ticking noise as it cools and settles back into the outside surroundings temperature dont worry about it its absolutely normal

It's just the noise of the metal on your hot engine and exhaust cooling down. Cause when it's hot metal expands and when it cools down it shrinks. Hense the click click noise.
