I have all loose except the a part the is keeping the heater core cover from dropping down. It has two hoses on each side going to the vents in the dash, and two hoses that seem to direct heat to the reat are. This is also where the heat comes on when directed to floor in front. Cannot see how it is connected at back. bolts? clips? that is the only thing hanging me up from completing the job. Any advise or maybe a page with an exploded view of what im dealing with here would be appreciated.. Ive done these before, but its been awhile. Dont want to unhook the hoses, in case I have to drive it across town to shop to have job finished. Plastic nipple is cracked somewhere. Thanks

have an 85 Dodge Ram Mini (cargo version of the caravan) that has the 2.6 liter motor.

the top flapper on the carburetor seems to be opening way to soon allowing way to much air to mix with the fuel (which causes it to die within 2-3min afer starting it.). I have tried spraying a little carburetor cleaner in it but it did not do much. If stick somthing in it to manually adjust it while it is running i can get it to run as long as i want with the object holding the flapper most of the way closed.

what is this little door called and is there a way for me to adjust it/replace it without to much trouble or am I do for a new carburetor?

Thanks!

I have a '91 Nassan Maxima, a foriegn car. Recently, my car's engine went out and was leaking black oil and water. Well, I realized I wasn't changing my oil like I should. My question is "can I have my bad engine repaired instead of buying a whole new one"?

The car was being repaired for something that was not related to the starting system. While the car was just parked and the key in the car without the ignition not on the starter engaged and the battery cable had to be taken off the battery to get it to stop. There was a fire on the drivers side upper fender well that caused damage to the hood. The car had some very recent body work and there was rubbing compound residue all over the engine comparpment, has anyone see or heard of this problem and if so how could i doccument the problem. Any help would appreciated...I forgot to mention its a older model...1981 but there is the same wiring harness for quite a few years..

Mazda Millenia 1999 model. Check engine light is on and mechanic says EVAC problem. He checked the car and saw no visible problem with the EVAC wires that connect the gas tank to the engine. He now wants to do a smoke pressure test on the system. Is it safe to drive the car in these conditions? Should I replace any other thing. I was earlier putting regular fuel, now shifted to Premium.

I have a 1999 Ram and the a/c blows through the vents located right under the windshield only. It used to blow through the front vents but whenever I stepped on the gas, it would blow through the windshield vents. Now it completely stopped blowing through the front vents. Even when I set it to blow on my legs, it only blows through the windshield vent.

Anyone know what's wrong and how much it'll cost to fix?
