What are engine bushing(sp), I think that is the word, lol. :)

Well, it sounds like you mean motor mounts. They are big steel frame blocks the size of your fist that have rubber in the middle of the top half and bottom half. The rubber soaks up vibrations from the engine so you don't feel any rattles. Now a bushing is like a bearing but is just like a piece of brass. Like on your lawn mower. The wheels of a lawn mower have a bushing that the bolt slides through. The bushing spins to soak up the friction between the wheel and bolt. Hope this helped.

you mean motor mounts. they're heavy duty rubber pads sandwiched by two steel frames, and hold the motor from rocking and bouncing.

When they go out you can hear a loud knock when you accelerate and let off the gas.

I THINK YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT ENGINE BEARINGS. YOU HAVE THEM ON THE CRANK SHAFT AND CAM SHAFT ON AN AUTOMOBILE ENGINETHEY ARE CALLED ROD BEARING. MAIN BEARINGS AND CAM BEARINGS. NEED MORE IM ME OK
