Apparently the outside of my exhaust is well rusted and i believe it's also the same as the inside. What happens if you don't fix the exhaust for a long time?

It's a Manual (Shift stick as Americans call it). As I hit 4th gear, you can start to hear a sound like a low "woop woop" kind of noise, something like when a washing machine starts to slow down. It's really hard to explain what it sounds like. I don't know where it's coming from too but my dad says it might be coming from the front. I have already taken the car for a safety check today and waiting for a phone call. I'm asking this to see if anyone has the same problem as I have before and to make sure the mechanics are telling me the truth.

My bmw's horn sometimes go off on its own for a split second while driving. This is very embarassing because people may think I'm honking at them. To make the matter worst I came home last night and the horn went off and couldn't stop until I stopped the engine. Each time I would turn the key without starting it would go off again. Then I started the car and it stopped. Very annoying b/c a neighbor came to ask me to stop honking... Any idea what it could be?

On the drivers mirror above the steering wheel there is the mirror and there is supposed to be a cover where you flip down to look at the mirror and flip back up. I don't know what it is called so it would help a lot if someone could tell me what that is called, even better would find the replacement though.

if anybody can help me on this one, I have a1998 nissan maxima and every time I turn on my car it makes a really loud screeching noise for about 20 sec, and then it stops. Then most of the times when the car is stoped and I am ready to accelerate it makes the same loud noise for about 8 sec and then stops. Does anybody know why is this? And how can I fix it? I already tried spraying the timing belt to grease it up but that didnt help. Please help, I would appreciate it. thanks

I asked a woman at work, and she said they haven't had anything like that in Cuba since 1959, but I saw a recent documentary on public T.V. that suggested otherwise. There were old 50's model Chevys, Fords, Hudsons, etc. There were also a lot of small family-owned father and son businesses, where they were making custom-made parts from scarp metal and glass. If this is really true, how did the cars get there?
