ok, i got a new fuel pump and every now and then randomly, i turn my ignition and it will turn and turn and turn, and after a few minutes you usually hear the fuel pump kick on and it will crank fine. now the fuel pump wont turn on at all and its only about 6 months old. someone told me it was my fuel pump relay, but another told me my car didnt have one.(both car mechanics, oh in TN lol) my question: does my 93 honda del sol have a fuel pump relay, and if so where is it located because i checked the haynes book and didnt find anything about it. and if its not a fuel pump relay what could it be.thank you in advance!

I have a 1997 Volvo 850GLT, & for some reason my "service" light comes on when I start the car. It only stays on until I hit a bump in the road or it will stay on for no longer then 10 minutes & then goes out by itself.

I was guessing it might be a wire connection thats loose, but all of the lights come on when I start the car.

Thanks for your help

sooooo. when i first removed the cap-rotor-cup-condensor assembly i cleaned it with carb cleaner because for some odd reason there were fuel deposits all over (a 64 corvair, been sitting for 31 years). well i proceded to hose it down... this was a week ago. today i tried to start the engine an there was no spark. i wnet and got new plugs, nothing. i was advised that there might be water in the distributor houseing and there was, just a lil.that has been cleaned out, but i still thik there might be more water and or fuel gunk down in the shaft, a place i can not get to because i have NO idea how to re-time it. help?

My car can't pass the emission here in GA, since the communication link for the OBD-II is not responding.
I've traced the problem to the ECU, and I don't want to spend
several 100 on this, when I think it may be a simple component
on the ECU, related to the communication port. I need the schematics to be able to find the problem on the ECU.

Thank you in advance for all your help.

Hey, my car 'rumbles' a lot when it's in drive and I'm stopped at a light or something.. if I shift to neutral, the 'machine gun' stops. Can someone tell me what this is, because I don't remember it being so noisy. (2001 Camry)

I have a 2003 nissan 350z and I replaced my stock rims(17") with a 19" rims and i just noticed my rear wheels are in a squat position meaning the camber is negative. Then I decided to lower my car by installing a lowering springs and the rear wheels becomes worst. I'm just wondering if I replaced the camber do I need to replace the toe as well or camber should fix the problem? thanks.

hey-

my friend has a '91 ford tempo with 120,000 miles on it. recently we've noticed a clicking and rattling noise near the engine when she drives and accelerates. the car was brought to a garage where they " didnt know what was wrong ", but her dad and my dad both agree that it sounds like a " valve tap. " i looked it up and all i can find is that a "valve tap" is expensive to repair, but exactly how much is "expensive"? she's looking to sell this car to me but i'm just wondering :

1. does this NEED to be repaired
2. is it unsafe to drive
3. if it does need to be repaired about how much is it?

thanks a lot in advance!

My brakes work fine, but I notice some brake dust on my front rims. Figure I would go ahead and get it done, but just hate the hassle from the guys in the garage. The last two times I have had brakes done, they have tried to charge me about a thousand dollars both times.
