I have a 2001 Vauxhall Corsa which has developed a squeak on the front passenger side, it appears to come from that wheel, I was under the impression that it was due to brakes binding but it has been checked and apparently it isn't, anti squeak compound was used and the problem temporarily went away. The squeak dissappears if the steering is slightly to the left or right. Its very annoying so any ideas on how to get rid of it would be great! Cheers!

It's a 2000 Ranger, and I'd like to do it myself, but need some instruction. All the sites I have read (and a couple maintanence references) say to loosen a sleeve near the tie rod end, but a picture is worth a thousand words!

i have a ford thunrderbird 1997.v6..i had the catalytic convertor replaced with a straight pipe because it would have been too costly to repair...now every like 30 miles when im driving the check engine light comes on and starts flashing and then it seems like the car loses power and acts like its going to stall...why is this?

I need to turn off the inside lights and think that I will need to remove a fuse, but I don't know which is the correct one to remove. If anyone has any ideas, that would be great.

The lights inside my oldsmobile won't turn off when I start the car and put it in drive. When I park it, turn it off, and close the doors, the dome light, and the lights under the rearview mirror all stay on. Sometimes when I hit bumps, the lights will blink but then turn back on. I have tried to turned them off on the dial next to the steering wheel, but this hasen't worked. Does somebody know a way to make them turn off or a website I can go to to find out. Thanks.

My automatic transmission (Subaru Outback)has grinding sound (bad clutch)for about year now, but runs, and thats good because I do not have 2k for repair. Can that be causing my poor mpg or is that another issue to consider? thanks.

No owners manual, no diagram under hood. I asked this question and the answer I chose as best isnt actually the motor.

My 1989 Toyota Camry makes this gear slip/rumble (the whole car slightly shakes) when it switches from 1st gear to 2nd - especially when the engine is still cold. What could be wrong with it?

and got a wheel alinment. And the car still shakes a little while
driving 65 miles an hour, what would cause it to shake? (The streering wheel is the one that shakes). If I go faster it stops.
Please no smart *** remarks. Only legit answer so I can take my
car in to the shop.

ok, so the car (64 corvair) has been sitting for 31 years with a half a tank. so expired gunk gas was expected. i tried to cyphine the tank but only a quarter came out. i was advised to disconnect the 2 line to the carbs and turn the car over, letting the pump pull it out and drain into a bucket.well doing so i the 2 lines (rusted) ripped in half, fine, mkes it easier to drain. i began to trun the car over, nothing. i then disconected the line and took a vaccum to the line hoping, nothing. i know there is a mesh screen in the tank. could that be clogged with garbage, or could it be the line clogged with garbage. if the tank, how do i remove it. its in a front "firewall" position. how hard to replace the line. in any case trying to bend a straight piece of tubing wihout a kink through the rear firewall isnt going to be fun, can i use a rubber line? or should i just push it over a cliff?

I have 1997 GMC Sonoma. I cannot remove the ignition key. I can shut the engine off but it will not turn back enough to release the key.
