I have a 2000 Saturn SC with 170,000 miles. It just started leaking coolant but I can't find from where. All the hoses that I can see look fine and aren't wet. The prob. is hard to find because the coolant is running down the frame, away from the engine. I don't know if Saturns have coolant plugs on the bottom of their engines. If they do, the coolant MUST be leaking from them. Does anyone know?

I bought a new car recently and it came with a sticker on the inside of the back window and I would like to know how I could remove it so I can replace it with an American Flag. Id also like to remove as much of the sticky residue as I can along with it. If it is not possible for me to do this, is there somewhere I could go and have a professional do this for me?

When it first broke downI took it to AAMCO. They put a new transmission in. I took it home and everything was fine, two days later it was accelerating funny, so I took it back to AAMCO, they put another new transmission in and for about two weeks it drove good and then it broke down on me on the freeway(it didn't want to accelerate and the check transmission light came on ), once again this was a transmission problem. Has anyone out there seen this happen before? (Repeated transmission Problems after it has been fixed) Does anyone have any insight on this? Does this mean I have a lemon?

The ignition on my 1989 has locked up. We've tried picks and 3 in one oil to clean it up, to no avail. Any ideas, appreciated, will the wheel need to be pulled for repair, or would just purchsing a new ignition be my best bet? The steering is not locked, almost as though it is out of sequence. Please help I'm a woman on my own and really need advice.

I know that intro isn't really a question but here goes... I just got a 92 Celica GT and the brakes went bad so I had Midas fix them they repaired every brake and rotar on all the wheels. There was a roaring noise from the back left side brake and I took it back to Midas and they said there was nothing wrong. I then got the CVC boots replaced on it and the steering wheel was unaligned and they said it wasn't anything they could have done. Now my car is totaled after spinning around a corner and going into a ditch, I know my car could take this turn at speeds well over what I was going, So there was no excuse for what happened... I wanna know what I can do to look for a brake problem since the Toyota place here won't help us out. I know Midas did something wrong but do you think there is anyway to prove that, it was there fault and what can I get from them if I get that proof?

Yesterday I totaled my 2000 ZX3 and almost died, luckily my roof didn't completely cave in as i slid in the ditch after i flipped over, SO my engine and transmission isn't damaged. I wanna save some movie and just buy a car like mine with a blown engine and then switch engines and get the keep the rest of the insurance payout. I already found the possible car BUT i'm not sure if the insurance company will let me keep my car after its declared totaled? The car i found is for only 500 dollars and my dad is a mechanic, so i really need 2 know quick

I have a 93 F150 truck and my exhaust fell apart and I also noticed that my transmission was jumping or kicking when I stepped on the gas. So I thought that it might have something to do with the air flow from the engine to the exhaust. I just got my exhaust fixed and I still have the same problem with the transmission. I don't know a whole lot about fixing cars so I was wondering if it is something minor like changing the fluid, etc. or if I might have a bad transmission.

recently, i've had this chirping sound on the front left wheel of my vehicle. it drives me nuts to see where it's coming from.

no there is nothing wrong with my engine or belt, that's not the one chirping... and no it is not the universal joint...

it's coming from the left wheel of my car, is it possibly the brake system or something else?

it only comes up once in a while. any ideas would be appreciated

Everytime I go to one, they end up overloading my tires. My SUV drove rough and I could feel every little imperfections on the road, so when I checked the PSI, it was 45! The correct PSI for my car is listed inside the door jam and it's 26!!!!!!!

This always happens whichever tire shop I go to. Do they hire anyone with an IQ over 100?
