I have a 93 Toyota Camry, just had a timing belt replaced a week ago. Seems like since I've got the car back when I brake at high speeds, it vibrates. I did a complete brake job, new rotors and pads, still vibrates. 6 months ago I had both axles and CV joints replaced. What should I look for, what's wrong with my car?

Ford KA 1.3i, the front wiper arms seem to have power as they work if I push the arms to a vertical position, the arms will then automatically return to their horizontal position. When the wipers are turned on, the motor can be heard trying to lift the wiper arms.

It's a 95 Mazda 626 4 cyl. engine and i sprayed some degreaser and washed, after that i turned it on and it died at a stop light. I checked the plugs for water and blew out whatever i could out of the spark plug holes. I drove it for 30 min. hoping that if it was water causing the problem it would dry off w/ the heat but the problem still remains..rough idle and car seems to bog down when accelerating. Any ideas? thanks

My 2005 Ford Focus burns gas like none other! I JUST filled up on Friday, and now Sunday, I am on a half a tank! I admit I have done some driving, but nothing to where I feel a half tank should be empty! What should I do to save gas, other than get on the bus? Is a tune up, or oil change needed? will that help?

Do you think that if gas prices continue to rise even more that we might see an increase in gasoline theft from other people's vehicles?

I have a 2004 Hyundai Elantra and a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero. I heard you can go about 2 - 3 thousand more miles between oil changes if you use a synthetic blend. Is this true?

is there any way that i can fix a dent by myself? my car got hit by a shopping cart today and it left a huge dent in the area above where my front tire is, and another tiny one a foot away from it. i cant really go and fix it from the back because there's something in the way, and i really don't want to even know how much this is gonna cost me to go to a repair shop. the dent isn't very deep, but it's about the size of a palm.

i was feeling around in the area and i felt some screws that keep the outside metal screwed to the rest of the car (sorry if that doesn't make sense). i'm pretty sure i'd be able to take it off, but i don't know if that's a good idea.

i tried to use a plunger, and i don't think i want to use one of those suctions where i have to poke a hole in my car...so...

but the motor unit looks pretty small and basic compaired to newer one's, could new rings cyl sleaves & bearings seals be such a large expence? if it where a vor-tec v8 manybe $2000 to totaly rework, could this old mercedes motor last 15 more years if repaired, my 98 isuzu 4cyl fuel injection could not even make 70,000 miles it's dead and will cost $1500 to repair, no quality in that one, and only around 20 MPG , I feel the auto makers of some models really didn't plan on their machines lasting as well as they should have, as a good friend of many years once told me about bourbon whiskey, he stated it was made to sell and not to drink, a good point made ,as many cars could be made to sell but don't expect to drive them very long, aren't the older a little cheaper for parts, due to the low amount of Tec-and electro trash , like on newer models,?

out the tail pipe,a steady amount not a wall of blue smoke but so so, should I worry or could their be a problem of to much fuel ? the crank case tube that returns to the air intake port had a steady flow of blue smoke as it was unhooked for a moment, over all the motor sounded some what like a very old tractor that needed ajustments made to the valve train, had to prime the injector pump by removing a top red top cap to start the fuel delivery, oil pressure gauge is above 50 psi fast .67000 miles but not clear if it is correct, this car only cost $500 and is auto trans that works very well, if this was a gas powerd car i would have run away but i really don't know the facts about old mercedes,I only wanted diesel power for my 98 isuzu rodeo 2wd, could some one help me to realize if this sounds like a normal 240D or could i soon have another junk pile on my hands, give me the facts on old mercedes please, MPG info on a 240D would be good too'.' thank you all so much.

Is it normal to have a black smoke ring/dust around the tail pipe of a car? The car doesn't seem to smoke. It just has a black soot on the tail pipe. What would cause this?
