Check the following things:
1. Did the fan motor sieze? If you cant spin it freely, it did and you will need to replace it.
2. If operated on a surpentine belt, check to see that the belt has no tears in it. If anything else works off this belt, are those things working? If so, it's not the belt.
3. Check your fuses - is one blown?
4. Try turning the fan on with the heater - if it's not working on the heater, then you need to replace the blower motor itself. You can pick one up at a salvage yard for a LOT less than at a dealer.

Locate the sensor for the fan, remove the connector and jump the leads, if the fan works you have a bad sensor. You have checked the fuses, right? It could be the fan motor is just dead, but the only way to know for sure is to eliminate the sensor that controls it by jumping the connector terminals. You should have power to one of the wires and the other should be the ground. Make sure the ground is good also. You can do all this with a simple test light.

The fan you probably pay attention once you turn on the AC is the fan for the AC condensor in case you have 2 seperate followers (my civic does, yet im not sure approximately your motor vehicle). i could suspect that for the time of the experience that your motor vehicle overheats at short stops, then which you should to check and be sure your antifreeze is finished and nonetheless in solid concern. The fan no longer kicking on is maximum possibly the relay, because of the fact in case you spot on your tool cluster the vehicle is overheating, then the european could desire to be sending that comparable strategies on your cooling fan, interior the path of the relay, to coach it on.
