When car gets hot it shuts off.... any ideas?
My son has an 89 Buick regal starts and runs when it warms up then it wont run it after it spits sputters shuts off we have replaced

coils and ignition module

It has been running fine! I started driving about 2pm- 4pm making two 15 min stops, leaving the van running with the ac on, and on the way home about a mile from my last stop it just died

I drove it one day and haven't driven it since for over 2years. I would like to get it back up and running. I am mechanically inclined but in no way a mechanic. I can do basic things with a book. Would like to save as much money as possible :) What would the best steps to prep the car to bring it to the mechanic? or should i just have it towed and let them do it all?

I'm a single Mom in a bad situation! It quit a couple weeks ago and my brother put a fuel filter on it thinking it might be fuel related, it did run for a while but was still starting hard. It finally quit again last Monday. With all the computer stuff on it, we aren't sure what to do next without spending a bunch of money! My brother knows basics, but thats about it. It's got a fairly new alternator and battery seems to be strong. It turns over strong but just won't fire.It is a V6, 4.3 liter I believe. We pulled the fuel filter again to make sure it is getting fuel to the engine, and it is. So we don't think it is the fuel pump. I need advice from someone with good mechanical knowledge! Thanks a million!

how do i change the spark plugs? the intake manifold is in the way, and i cant pull the top of the wires off. there is only one i can pull out BUT i cant get to the freakin spark plug! what do i do?

I think I'm being ripped off by my car dealer. I had the engine replaced about 2 years ago due to stupidity on a family members part. The whole engine needed to be repalced on a 99 Mustang due to not putting oil in it for over a year. So it gets replaced. For the past year we have been noticing black spots on the cardboard underneath the car in the mornings. When we took it to the dealer he said it was an engine leak and they would fix it because the engine still had a year left on its warranty. THen they say it was also a tranny leak and we had to pay for that. Now everytime it leaks we take it to the dealer and always its the tranny. What color is tranny fluid and what color is engine fluid. Do you think he's ripping me off? Whaty should I do??

My 2003 Acura MDX makes noise while going down the slope with brakes. Mechanic told me brake pads of rear wheel are worn out and that's why it's making grinding noise sometimes. He is also asking me to resurface the rotor. Is it necessary to resurface the rotor while replacing brake pads.

I have a 86 honda civic and I have to replace the master cyl and the line and fitting is rusted tight to the old master cyl. Is there any way to get the line off with out twisting it off or braking it
