No Jet-A is like kerosene, and don't even think of using 100LL av-gas because is has lead in it.What you want to add to gas to boost the octane rating is toluene which is used in dry cleaning. The best thing to do is look at the SUNCO web site and find where they sell 100 octane racing fuel (at $5/a gallon or so.) Some octane boosters contain jet fuel, but unless you need more octane, that isn't going to help. If you do not have major modifications done to your engine, it will work the best on the octane the manufacturer recommends. And I'm not even sure those jet fuel octane boosters actually work. jet fuel(JP-8 or JP-10) is actually more like kerosine and diesel fuel

The refining process hapens by degrees... first the purest to the dirtiest elements (tarmac was made out of the dirtiest parts). Gas is at a upper level in the process than Jet A Fuel... you're car engine is tunned to work with gas not kerosene. It just doesn't work that way.

NO!!!! NO, NO, NO!!! Sweet Jesus & Mary....
If you want higher octane you can add a bottle of 104 or outlaw octane booster. Found at any Pep boys, Napa, etc...
Race cars use race gas. About 99 octane. Av GAS for planes is 100 octane.
These will add a maybe 5 hp tops. To get real Hp you need add Nitrous kits or a turbo.

No it wont has a much lower BTU rating than gasoline. In other words will not produce as much power from a given amount of fuel.

Try it, more than likely you're going to damage if not destroy your engine. Aviation fuel contains much more octane than you car is rated for. If you have to ask something like that then you probably shouldn't be driving...

No, dont do it, jet fuel(JP-8 or JP-10) is actually more like kerosine and diesel fuel, it will not do so good. It may burn your pistons or valves.
