no it just uses mor gas. but make sure you turn it to off before you start your car or right when you shut your car off. your ac should never be on when you start your car.

Using your AC on high is not bad for your car. As others have mentioned you will consume more gasoline when the AC is on whether on high or low. Anytime you turn the AC on regardless of high or low your compressor begins to run which will reduce the amount of power your car can put out as well as use more gas. It would be worse if you never used your AC vs if you used it alot on high as the bearings need to be uses occassionally. One way to get the AC feeling yet use less gas is to turn on the recirculate button on your car insead of the AC. You still are using the AC but somehow it feels cooler since the already cooled air is recirculated.

Nope. If It was bad for the car... the designers wouldn't continue to make it available in cars.

no thats why its there. if it were bad they wouldnt of put it but it does waste a lot of gas and coolant
