OK what you need to do first is have the freon pressure checked. TRUST me i worked for buick for 10 years. common problem the freon level was low causing half of the evaporator to cool on a dual zone ac system . generally if you have a electrical
problem the temp on the display will flash indicating a code has been set in the ac programmer memory. if this is the case what i have also seen is a passenger side temp actuator code. you can access the temp actuator from the glove box. lower the glove box and the temp actuator is located on top of the ac programmer. but first start with a a/c system service to check ac pressures for proper charge.

There is a good question. My 1997 Pontiac did the same thing in reverse cold passenger side and warmer on drs. side. This is usually low R-134 refrigerant in the A/C system and in some cases caused by dog hair dirt and obstruction to air flow in the evaporator coils. Have the A/C freon removed weighed and correct amount put back in sticker under the hood with correct charge weight. Under two pounds

The condenser on your car has a high side & a low side, one or the other may not be working corectly or your blend door actuator may be not working properly. The only way to know for sure is to take it to the shop & get it tested which should run you less than $100 ( depending what area you live in ).

Not sure on this, but my 05 Impala has a Selector lever on the Dash for heat or cold for each side, of the car- look for levers that go up and down, red on top and blue on bottom.
