and after 10 15 min of running after being parked for 1 year, i hit the road to get the little prize home, my friend fallowed me to make shure i mad it, after a mile or 2 the car had no more blue smoke and ran down the road 85 mph very nice on flat ground but i soon realized at the base of a rather large and steep mountain the car's speedy habit changed to a fast walking speed and did not down shift as quickly as it should have to improve power to climb the hill,after 5 to 6 min i toped over the hill, wow i think i could have got out and ran up that hill faster really'' what on earth could be the problem with this mercedes car' i was thinking it must have a problem because mercedes could have never even sold one of this model of car if they are all this sick, a man could really get killed driving this one around big trucks, PLEASE could some one tell me are their any improvments that could be made to this thing to improve it's performance just a little, thanks for any help given.

Every time I drive around, my tires make this sqeaky noise and it drives me crazy. I thought it was the breaks, but everytime I press on the breaks it stops the noise? What could be the possible problem and what should I do to fix it?

my 94 montero wont start after i turn it off i have to wait a while before it starts again I've noticed specially on hot humid days. Took the car to three different mechanic the last one i took it to drove the car kept it for a week and nothing happened the car drove fine. The other two could not figure it out even with the diagnostic it shows nothing wrong. I dont know what to do anymore I spend so much money on the car I would hate to get rid of it. can someone give me some ideas.

1 Check coolant light is constantly on but the car doesn't heat up and drive normally? What could be the problem?

2. Does the "check coolant" light have anything to do with the AC haivng stopped working?

BTW THIS IS A AUTO.I have a 97 dodge neon,the timing belt broke(long story.)Every thing is fixed now but the shifting into 3rd and the belt is rubbing the timing cover.I was told if the timing belt is on right it should NOT be rubbing anything.I have ran into transmission problems,but after my husband change the filter and fluid.It went from not shifting into reverse(he put trans slip fluid in it and it fixed the problem)to not shifting into second,now it shifts into 3rd randomly.I am thinking it could be that the timing is off.What are the odds?

I have a 98 cov. GT. I just had my Air Conditioning Condenser replaced at the ford dealership. As soon as I left the dealer I heard a squeaking noice coming from the back of the car. It sounds like it is around the trunk area. I can hear it a lot when I am going around 25-35 mph. Any idea what this can be from. Did the dealer do something to my car?

I have a '97 Nissan Sentra GXE to sell that has a low mileage of less than 65,000 miles. Two buyers at different times looked at it and had similar comments that the engine noise is quite loud for a low mileage engine. They also felt that its acceleration in the starting out phase is not good enough, and, particularly when going on an upward incline it tends to lose power and reduces speed drastically -- even when the acceleration pedal is pressed down fully. They both declined to purchase the vehicle on these grounds. Now I am afraid to show the car to anyone else fearing rejection again. I desperately want to get your assistance in finding out if there is a good product or products that have been proven to: 1) reduce engine noise significantly and make it sound smooth; 2) perk up the engine/transmission to give it a strong pickup at starting out from zero speed, and while going uphill. Will appreciate getting the products names and the store names /websites where available. Thanks.

we have a 88 dodge daytona, when we turn the key nothing happens, no dash lights, not even the clock came on. the battery is fully charged and we replace the ignition cylinder(I think that is what it is called) and nothing has happend HELP!!!

sometimes when its put into gear(drive or reverse) it still is in neutral, and the engine just revs, then you have to put it back in park and try again, its happing all the time and i just bought it last week.

my chevrolet venture had the "service engine soon" light on which signifed that it was due for an oil change. i had it serviced at ez lube and did not notice that this light was still on after the service. now, i am wondering if this can be turned off manually.

When I bought my truck, the transmisson fluid was over full by quite a bit. I was told that my diaphram in the modulator valve had slipped, so I went and bought a new one and replaced it. Now that it's replaced, it still wont go into gear. What else could be the problem..?

when i am coming onto the highway, i push down on the gas pedal faster than normal. Am i burning the oil up in my engine when i do this? smoke comes out of my two mufflers until i get to the speed of the gas pedal. if you think about it, it is the only time that you can get away with speeding. on the onramp, police are unlikely to pull you over when you are accelerating from 0 to 60. i just try to do it in the shortest time. it is actually legal to do it. people just haven't figured it out.
