I have a 1984 chrysler 5th ave idle is very high. goes about 25 mph at idle speed looking for correction to pr

Car runs great ,saw throttle spring laying on motor dont know how it hooks, butterfly valve stays open wide please help ---K.C

Most likely the return spring is broken. Do not drive the car. Purchase a replacement spring and replace it. If you have a problem, it would be a good idea to have a qualified mechanic fix it for you, seeing as this could cause your car to accelerate out of control!!
