I have a 3 door L reg purple corsa done 72,000 miles runs well etc.... I know its very old and past its sell by date lol but I just want some thing to jazz it up make it look a bit smarter like seat covers etc but I don't want to look like a sad chavette who is trying to do a old car up I just want it to look a bit more presentable, also I want to take the smell of old car away because I have tried loads of different air fresheners and none of them work.

I bought a 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan that needs the erg sensor valve replaced. My "check engine" light stays on. I was told it can be cleaned (the erg sensor valve) or it may have to be replaced. My car will not pass the emissions test if I do not have it fixed. I have already put a lot of money into the car and have a very limited funds right now to have it fixed. I don't even know where the erg valve is even located or how to clean it myself!

ok here is the deal...i purchased a 89' jeep wrangler and it runs great...until now, i am having a issue getting it into gear when the vehicle is stopped at a light or stop sign. When i am rolling i have no issues as it shifts smooth into every gear...is it just a bas slave cylinder or clutch.

I had a friend install a radio in my car. She hook it up so that the radio stayed on even with the car off. My clock was always on and I was also able to charge my cell phone with the car being off. I couldn't do any of this before she install the new radio. She said she hook it up to the batter. Well, when I went to start my car1 day after installation the car wouldn't start. I think the way she hook it up weakened the battery. Please tell me if any of you have ever heard of hooking a radio up to directly to the battery. Why would you want to play a raido with the car off? What if I were to forget to turn radio off?

I just bought a 1997 Cadillac Catera about one week ago from an auto auction. The car looks great and runs pretty good too except sometimes it loses power and won’t really accelerate. The rpm’s go up but the car just sluggishly moves along. The check transmission light comes on as well. It will continue to do this until I turn the car off then restart it. Once I do this the light goes off and it drives great. I have had the car a week and it has happened twice. If anyone has any suggestions I would appreciate it.

We have been told that a repair on a windscreen only stops the chip from spreading, but you can still see the repair. You know when your driving if there is something there your eyes always goes right to it. I thought that when a repair is finished you could'nt see anything ?

when i start the car it just turns over like theres no fuel getting through to it , i tokk it to a fiat garage and they ran a full check on it and came up with the ecu was at fault ,and they replaced it two days later the car is still doing the same thing i took it back to fiat and they said they cant find anything wrong with it this problem is driving me nuts lol has anyone had the same problem or knows of what could be causeing the fault thanks for your time

I have a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am SE, and a Toshiba Satellite notebook pc. I use my laptop frequently in my car and I bought an adapter to use for my cigarette lighter, to power it. I've blown 2 fuses so far. I was wondering if it's an electricity problem or if I don't have the appropriate voltage to power a computer. Forgive my ignorance, but all I know is the little mini's come in different colors and have different numbers on them. Colors/numbers mean what exactly? I know they mean voltage, but would using a different color/number or a higher voltage fuse blow out my circuit? Is there anything I can do? Sorry, I don't know much about cars. Thanks for any help anyone can give me in advance!

ok this is the breakdown, i was coming out of a intersection turning into the lane closest to me when i see a man on his motorcycle. I slam on my brakes and come to a complete STOP. The man on the motorcycle swerves to miss hitting me and the end of his bike slames into the front of my car leaving a hole and serious stratches . His bike came out unharmed with only a peddle bent partialy. He said i didnt have to involve the insurance company and he would go get an estimate (his guess was 500!) i told him i think i would go through my insurance(he was against that) I think he is trying to get over on me because im a teenager....so what should i do? my car is wrecked........he wants me to pay but i didnt even hit him! HELP

i have to install a starter in my 96 blazer but i dont know how. I took the old one out but the new one has a way to adjust the starter bushing buy sticking a screwdriver in the side of it.

My car tends to not want to start, like i went to the store and it started it up perfectly, then I come back out and get in it, then it didn't want to start, the dashboard lights came on and radio as well. I called AAA Car Service, the guy who came out, said it was either my starter, a/c, or Alarm. But I don't know anything about cars. I think it is my starter I am not sure. It might be the A/C, it can't be the Alarm, because if you try to start the car with the alarm armed, it will make it go off like someone is trying to steal it and makes it where you can't start it. Please I need some feedback. Mechanics preferred but general advice and help is great too.

How do I replace it? The exhaust manifold gasket is what connects by the catalytic converter, right? Would I be able to just pull the converter off (I have no muffler) and replace it that way or do I have to do it from the hood and tear half my motor up? Someone please give me detailed instructions and I will give the 10 pts to whoever gives me the easiest directions (besides taking it to a mechanic... lol) Please someone help me out!!!

the car has elec. power still but the motor is stalled. after a few min. it often will start for a brief to moderate time period.

My '97 Chevy Venture blows a 25A fuse when I turn on the wipers. There's nothing else on that circuit besides the wipers. I just had a head gasket replaced a few days ago. I know it's very tight under the hood, so is it possible (probable?) that the mechanic screwed up my wipers? The timing seems a little funny. The wipers worked fine before the head gasket repair.

For what it's worth, the wipers would work for a short period of time after I replaced the fuse. It seems like the fuse would blow when the wipers were set to intermittent. But now the fuse blows as soon as the ignition switch is set to the "On" position, so I can't really give any more info.

Any ideas?
