2001 honda accord. Both front and rear tires treadings are worn out about the same. 1) Anyone know if honda accords of 2001 are front or rear wheel driven? 2) When replacing tires is it better to put new tires on front or rear (if you are replacing only 2 out of 4) on a car like this?

I got a 2000 Grand Prix. The security light is always on. It came with only one key and it doesn't say GM. I went to the dealer and they wanted $65.00 for a copy I think mainly to program the chip in the key. I went to Lowes and I got a copy for $3.00. I used that key this morning and came to work.

I am suspecting somebody tamper with the security system in order to make the other key to work. I hope the engine doesn't stop in the middle of traffic.

Anybody has any comments on that?

I recently discovered that I lost or misplaced the only ignition key to my 1994 Eddie Bauer Ford Explorer, and I was wondering what it would take to get a replacement.

I heard that it is pointless to store a car for two or three years because all the gaskets will dry up and rot away? It is true? I have a 98 Explorer, which is paid off, under 70,000 miles, but I like it. I am willing to store it in a indoor storage unit. Will it be okay if I come back and run it for a week every 6 months or so or is it best to just give it to charity or sell it? What are the disadvantages to storing it...if any? Thanks so much for your help with this!

the transmission will shift into and out of overdrive utilizing the button on the shifter, but the light flashes all of the time. I assume it is a warning of some sort but my owners manual doesn't say what it is! Any knowledge of this, gearheads?

I have a Mercedes 1990 E 300. It uses special unleaded gas. It was running fine and all of a sudden smoke begun coming out of the exhaust pipe. When I step on the gas, makes a noise like when you are using the wrong octane gas. Recently I had the smog Certificate and it was OK. Somone told me it could be the part that regulates the mix going to the fuel injector. Help!!

Could it be the thermostat? I have to fill the coolant bottle quite often. Seems to get to that point when it's really hot out and I use the air conditioner.
