So the other day I backed into a brick wall. It busted up my back tire, but instead of stopping, I drove on it for about 5 miles before having to stop because it was smoking and completely torn up.

now i put the spare tire on it, but could only drive it about a mile before stopping again. the wheel is still wobbly on it, and the car feels very shaky, but the engine feels fine. it looks the wheel frame on that back tire is really bent out of shape.

what should i do? what kind of mechanic do I take it to?

Do i take it to a brake specialist or a car body mechanic? if the rim/frame is bent out of shape, how much will it take to fix? please help!!!

also, do i have rent a tower to pick it up or do some mechanics do that?

its a 97 plymyth breeze (similar to a dodge stratus)

Compressor does not come on, was wondering if this could be caused by low pressure in the system or possibly an electrical problem, Tested the compressor. It will come on if you hot wire it.

I was wondering why people go to Walmart to get tires and service work done. It's always took about two hours when my girlfriend went there. Sure its cheaper but is it worth waiting and shopping for two hours?

I love my jeep. It's a 1999 Grand Jeep Cherokee Laredo. But lately, all I've been wanting to do is put it in neutral and let it roll off a cliff. I can drive it around just fine at a FULL tank of gas, even a half tank of gas, everything runs smooth. But as soon as the gas gauge reads under half, I can't turn left without stalling it. It'll stall, and pick up again, or it'll stall and just die out and I have to re-start it (Which is embarrassing in an intersection). I've had the gauge checked to see if it was reading wrong, I've had the fuel filter replaced, I put methyl-hydrate in the gas tank in case there was water in it, I've had it checked by 3 mechanics who tell me to "just keep the gas tank full" But it's a little bit of a pain when it costs me $110.00CDN to fill it, and it sucks gas back like a monster, and I can't use half of my gas! So I'd be constantly filling my tank since I have a long commute to work! Has ANYONE heard of this problem in Jeeps before? What can I do?

It has an in-line filter and appears to have quick release hoses on either side. Has anybody ever used this tool and will the fuel pour out of the line when I disconnect it?

How much do you suppose one of these special tools cost?

when gapping a spark plug with a round gauge, do you only go to the line or do you put the # you need in the middle

Whats the best way to clean the engine out of this mixture without taking it apart. Last time oil drained it looked like a light tan milkshake. Are there any good cleaners I can add to the oil to get all this sludge out or any other suggestions or insight are appreciatted. Also what is best to add to the oil once sludge is removed to relubricate all the internal parts well.

I was told my car needs work done on the fuel injector. The mechanic said that since it jerks sometimes when i press the gas, the fuel injector is having problems. Is this true?

The car is an 89 ford escort with 45k miles. New spark plugs, recent oil change, and recent trans fluid change. I don't think there are any trans problems, as the jerking happens even when it doesnt shift.
