I am going to purchase a car that I will never drive, it will be a car that will age for over 20 years in my garage, Similar to the cars you see at an auto show but this one will be perminate. I want your guys oppinion on this, is a Toyota Yaris a good car to do this with, or is there a better one. I want to know also how to display it and store it

Probably better to do something more memorable, say a Mustang, Charger, 350z or something of that nature. The performance cars are always the ones that stick around. If anything made today is going to be remembered, it will be something along those lines.

However, letting a car sit for extended periods of time is almost as bad as just driving the piss out of them...

Its a good car to save for now because in 20+ years you can say 'This is what a Yaris looked like when it originaly came out' (assuming they stay around). Otherwise, you could take a car like a Corolla or Civic because they will surely never go away. They have been around for 15 years at least, so then you can just say "This is what they looked like in 2006".

Do not waste your time. Really. The Yaris is the new Corolla. No ground broken here. Toyota has flooded the market with these cars, so no "rarity" value will not be forthcoming.

For your sake, I hope I am wrong.

Its a pretty cheap car to save as what I assume would eventually be a classic car. I think the sports car would be a better investment in the long run. I don't know, just a thought.
