I've just changed the plugs on my 1994 escort 1.8si and the ceramic on one of the plugs broke and fell in to the engine. i have tried everythin to get it out but it will not come out. will it damage my engine if left in there or will it shatter in to small pieces and end up out the exhaust.

I have a 2001 Grand Am V6 , The Service Engine Soon light came on yesturday(Sunday) and I read in the book that it shouldn't be anything major, so I phoned the dealer today and they can't get my in until Thursday to hook up the Computer Diagnostic on it. so I was wondering what could some of the problems be with it? I was told by the mechanic on the phone that there could be over 60 things that could be wrong. thanks

i have a 1992 cadillac sedan deville. i recently purchased the vehicle used, and the front suspension appears to have been redone. Although the rear suspension is still the OEM air shock system it came with, i took it to a mechanic and he told me that it could be the air shocks or the compressor pump that just isint working, if thats the case where can i go about getting a pump cheap, or if anyone else has any suggestions its greatly appreciated.

The rear of the vehicle rides lower than the front. And after you go over a bump, you REALLY feel it, and in many cases the rear of the car bottoms out. if anyone knows what this is please let me know!!!!!!

thanks

1995 Pontiac Transport 3.8L - the factory original water bypass outlet is plastic and broke at the engine block. I have the metal replacement, but cant get the old plastic out of the threads in the engine block. No room for extractor, tried 1/2" PVC extractor and just chewed it up. Do I just have to pick it out - plastic is rather hard.

If you need to ask where your spark plugs are, chances are you shouldn't touch them. Secondly, ask an entire question... not just "1991 Geo Metro Turbocharger?". The reason this site exists is to answer questions however putting a question mark after 4 unspecific words does not equal asking a question. Help us help you! It wouldn't surprise me if someone just asked "What side is my gas tank door on" and didn't tell you the year make or model.

its cool to see women answering car questions? What makes a woman want to become knowledgeable about auto mechanics (I mean the science, not the guy in tight jeans at the gas station)? Its so interesting to see a woman that knows what shes talking about in this field or to even see women taking an interest in this stuff. Do you suppose such a woman as this would get on your creeper under your car?

Was running the AC on a hot day and suddenly noticed that my brake pedal pushed right to the floor, and I had to use the hand brake to stop. Used the car on a cooler day without AC and everything seemed to work well.
I have removed tires, and checked wheel cylinders, and calipers...no leaks. My brake fluid reservoir is staying full.
Before I spend the money on a new Master Cylinder, is there anything else I could be looking for?

The driver's window is stuck open. We replaced the motor, which worked fine for a couple of weeks. Now the cable is not working and we don't know how to put it back on. The rainy season is coming, and I can't afford the $300 to a mechanic to fix it. Thanks.
