Yes, but it will take a lot longer than if it was fabric. It will probably not burn all the way through because of the density of the leather vs cloth, and the fact that is that as the cigarette burns, the hottest part is in constant motion, albeit very slowly.

amyone knows that if a cigarette is light and you lay it on any kind of seat it will burn. lather doesn't catch on fire like other materials but it will eventually melt through the seat and burn it to a crust.

look in the phone book under automobile reconditioning. most of these businesses will come to you and they cost about 50- 60 dollars to patch a cigarette burn
