its cool to see women answering car questions? What makes a woman want to become knowledgeable about auto mechanics (I mean the science, not the guy in tight jeans at the gas station)? Its so interesting to see a woman that knows what shes talking about in this field or to even see women taking an interest in this stuff. Do you suppose such a woman as this would get on your creeper under your car?

My wife learned about her car and repairing it as she didn;t want to be beholden to anyone on things she could take care of herself.
I find it liberating that a woman would want to know that (considering what a car clod I am).
As to the creeper, how much clearance do you have?

Ok, first of all, female mechanics are NOT that common. I've personally never seen a female mechanic. However, someone once told me there is a repair shop in Atlanta, GA that is ALL female mechanics. I thought that was pretty awsome. I think it's really cool when women take an interest in anything auto related. It's not the norm. But I suppose it's no different than guys that take an interest in something typically seen as a woman's interest, like fashion or interior design. It's fun to be around other people that share your interests, no matter if they're a man or woman.

Where have you been? There are many women mechanics out there. What makes us want to be knowledgeable about cars is the same thing that makes men want to be I suspect. I love speed. I am into muscle cars. I want to know what I am driving has been worked on properly. I figure I drive the cars, trucks
I break them. I should repair them.

I think it's really cool. I wish I knew of some cheap mechanics classes so I could take them and fix my own car. I kinda like getting dirty and fixing things.

i think its cool when anybody answers a car question i have. lol. i suppose what atracts us to cars atracts some females. i bet a woman like that would love to get on a creeper.

well i know some women who works on cars,and some are pretty smart too.i dont mind if they work on my car as long as they know what they are doing.
