Well you will probably have to take it to a dealer beacuse there is no dipstick on your car. Normally a shop will do one of two things. Either take down the tranny pan take out the screen(filter) and then replace filter and gasket put up pan and refill. The best way to have it done is by flushing system. That gets all the oil out of the converter and cooler and whole system but there lies the problem. Since you dont have a dipstick Im not sure how they would flush it. When doint a flush you tap into the tranny cooling lines and run the car and check the fluid consantly so you dont let it get too high or low. I guess I would ask a dealer or tranny specialist about it.

the new sevice on all trans these days is to have a full service which means to have the whole transmission flushed which means the torq converter and the main body of the transmission done also the filter relpace and a new gasket done if it isnt done this way it is not the correct way to do it just like you should have the brakes system flushed esp. with disc brakes and anti lock system also.it must be done and not with silicone additive to the brake fluid if the dont do it this way it will give you problems later on

Transmission service on you car would involve draining the fluid, dropping the pan, checking for any abnormal wear or anything needing adjustment, changing the filter, and refilling with new fluid. It's that simple.
Hope this helped.

They should drain the transmission fluid and torque converter, replace the filter, replace the pan gasket, and replace the fluid. If they don't drain the torque converter, they haven't done a thorough job. BUT some torque converters don't have drain plugs. May want to check their work. Good luck.

Normally all they will do is drop the pan to drain the fluid. Install a new filter and gasket then fill it back up with fresh fluid.

Make sure they're flushing and not just changing it. I called up and said I needed my transmission fluid changed, and that's all they did. See posts above for what they should be doing!
