Check your owner's manual. Besides regular tuneups (typically every 12,000 miles) there are other maintenances to perform at various intervals (20k, 30k, 60k, etc) such as changing antifreeze, or transmission oil, brakes, hoses, etc.
Tuneups usually consist of replacing distributor cap, rotor, spark plugs, fuel filters, air filters, PCV valve/filter, O2 sensor, checking ignition wires, setting timing

A 'complete' tune up consists of an oil change, new oil and air filters, check tire pressure and check all fluid levels. A more complete check would include checking/replacing the spark plugs, front and rear brakes, light bulbs, antifreeze/coolant and possibly some other things. As long as you're changing the oil and filter every 3000 miles, you're OK. You didn't say how many total miles are on the vehicle, though, so it's tough to say how much needs to be done.

Tune up as in performance? If you are prepared to spend that kind of money on enhancements, what I'd go is spend it on completely rebuilding the engine so its basically brand new, those V8 engines are powerful enough to be honest. @andthentherwasi - 'since you don't have a distributor, air filter' What? I'm sure that it has an air filter

Probably could use some new spark-plugs, new hoses and belts and tires. Check the brakes and other fluids like power steering and the transmission fluid, have the radiator flushed and filled.
