ok, hello every 1 can some1 tell me where and how to install new transmission solenoid for 1997 ford taurus it s a VULCANE Transmission V6 3.0 thanks for all the help?

my overdrive don t work and my RPM go way to high SAMPLE when iam about 60 MPH my RPM is over 3000 my RPM move fast as the MPH

If you're talking about the shift sensor, then it should be part number E6DZ-9E731-C and it goes into the side of the trans with a electrical coonection. It's pretty easy to do. I hope this helps...I hope I gave you the right info from what you have provided. Good Luck!

That's a pretty generic description for a rather complex situation. You have numerous solenoids inside your transmission. Shift, Lock-up, EPC, etc. What is the problem you are having? In most cases, replaceing solenoids doesn't fix the problem with the transmission. But you may get lucky. If you can update your question with a little more information, I might be able to give you more insight.

Yea, if you have the tools, you will have to remove the tranny mount on the drivers side and have the car in the air is a plus. You will have to remove the valve body cover which is on the end of the tranny on the drivers side. Not the tranny pan on the bottom. Once you have the cover off you will have to remove a bolt that holds the solenoid on and install the new one. It most likey will have one connector that you will have to unhook. Don't know which solenoid you are replacing but it isn't real hard.
