My sister got hit for a car that was leaving a gas station. She went to get some estimates from a body shop and the first she got was for over $6000 because they want to replace almost all the damaged parts; the other estimate is for around $3500 because they will repaire some parts. This is a new sienna (2004)with few miles. Will Insurance pay for the higher estimate? This accident will increase the future premium if the other ins. do not want to pay for the repair? The accident was not my sister fault and the other driver was not added to the policy of the car that he was driving.

State Farm paid against my totalled car, and Gap-Insurance paid their share, but did not cover the ENTIRE amount of the loan.

There are $3000 outstanding on the loan with the bank.

State Farm wants their car (since they paid against it) but they can't get the title yet because the lien holder hasn't released the title due to the fact that there are $3000 left to be paid.

What to do? I can't afford it all at once.. and State Farm won't wait until I can finish paying it off because the car is sitting at the Police Impound facility accruing storage fees on a daily basis!

What is going to happen?

My girlriend gave her stepmother $1400 tward the purchase of a vehicle in Oklahoma, She recieved a bill of sale showing the reciept of the money, but still can't get a title or vehicle from the owner (stepmother). How can she recover the money or the vehicle? She now resides in South Dakota.

We had AAA road service bring the car to a repair place today on a Sunday. Do we also have to call them for a claim today or can we deal with this once we know how much the repair cost will be?

A woman drove into the side of my car hitting me on the nearside wing and door (my car was two weeks old)we where on a car park wich was classed as a road for insurance perposes by the police she drove at about 30 miles per hour into the side my wife was taken to hospital with minor injuries the impact to my side pushed my 5 feet side way's with my brakes full on as far as I am concerned and the solicitor. she never even braked she used my car as a break I have taken photos and had a map of the car park it has all been altered since the accident and looks completely diferent now in this day and age you would think this would be straight forward failling to stop and driving without due car and attention (not so she say's I did not anticipate her driving into me and it was my fault for being in her way.I am still waiting to go to court that will be in July sometime that will be 23 months after the accident who is to blame me or the other driver.I would love to read your answers.

'01 Grand Prix GTP. The fire wasn't that bad. It was parked at a store that had a fire extinguisher. When I opened the hood the plastic cover was on fire. The fire went out quickly and the only damage seems to be the wires and hoses have to be replaced. The car is paid off. What happens next?

and how bad they are, straight after their tests.
One of them was driving a huge BMW doing wheel spins etc, another didnt know how to do dip and full beam!
Ref insurance.. why dont we restrict the insurance levels available to these new drivers?
Like let them have to a group 5 or something, just to get them used to the road?
It may help them learn a few things? and then go to a bigger faster car??

My husband was driving with his friends and was involved in a random shooting his friend was shot in the neck, as my husabnd was attempting to transport him to the nearest emergency room he was involved in a major car accident (he was drving on his rims for a mile or so d/t his tires being blown out) However everyone had survived that, his friends was then taken by ambulance to the hospital he survived 5 days with a good prognosis then died suddenly from a heart attack. His parent (he was 22 at the time) are now suing our insurance company for 100,000 stating due to the car accident he failed to seek timely medical attention which could have resulted in his death. Is that leagal? Also we just found out that his friend and his family are illegal aliens.
