My dad who lives in France would lend me his car for an indefinite period. The car would stay insured in France. Would I be allowed to drive it here in England? Or would I need to have it insured here as well?
I would use the car occasionally only (not more that twice a month)

I run a small company and to put an under 25 year old driver on the company fleet policy is going to cost me in excess of £600 per year extra.

Well, after I tore up my transmission last weekend me and my friends decided to pull out the bad one ourselves to save money. We worked dang near all day and finally got it out but managed to drop it right on Sonnys foot trying to put it in the dumpster. Now hes all mad cause the emergency room said its broke and he will miss three weeks work. Do you know they want about $650.00 dollars for a junk yard transmission? I started thinking about my sad ole truck with no bed and plywood doors (just read my 360 blog for that story) and decided to just put her down and give her a funeral. We pulled the gas tank out then towed it over to a dirt pit off the highway, tossed about three gallons of gas on her then I threw a road flare on the roof. You would have thought an atom bomb went off! We were way away but it still singhed all our hair. We towed the smoking hulk back home just now but my neighbor says that wasn't legal. Why not? I'm not going to claim insurance. Cant I burn my own truck?

My car is in my mother in laws name, she lives in NC I live in SC. The car is being bought through a bank in NC, so it is also redgistered and insured in NC. Both of our names are covered on the insurance, but it is way too high for me to afford right now. She uses one insurance company and I usually use a different one because it is cheaper, so my question is, can she insure my car (thats in her name) through a different insurance company, and still keep her other cars on insured through her company?

my mom bought a car recently and is going to let me drive it to school/work and to see my bf a half hour away. the car won't be mine right away, i am slowly paying for it if i do decide i want it when i graduate. so im not getting it for free or anything. i'll be paying for it, and working hard for it.

anyways, im almost 17 and haven't gotten my license yet. i didn't have a car to drive before so it wasn't a big deal to me really. now i will have one to drive, and i want one really badly. but im extremly scared about taking my test because i've lost a lot of teenage friends in accidents in which they were careless and i don't want that to happen to me.

anyways, im asking for help on the test. i don't do good on tests and get nervous easily and so i was wondering if anyone can give me pointers and some ideas on what to expect and what i will have to do when i take it. i would also like to know how i know im ready to take it and how to get over all this anxiety.

thanks!!!

I have a 1995 Toyota Camry and was hit from behind. Other driver says he will pay for damages (estimates I got range from $2,300 to $3,700). I checked value of my car at kelly blue book and at a fair condition it is worth $2,950. He has asked me not to file a claim with my insurance because he does not have insurance and wants to avoid dealing with the DMV. My predicament is that should I just ask him to pay me $2,500 for damages or file a claim. Will the ins. co. salvage my car since the repairs are slightly more than its value? If so, can I still keep my car or will they take it away from me? What other options do I have? Thank you for your ideas.

Making a living is one thing . But do you think there is a limit to what we should pay per unit, and per car. I mean you only drive one car at a time how about insuring your drivers lisense... That would just make to much since... What do you think ?
