"no license until you are 18" is not a reasonable punishment at all for having one person too many in your car

We have too many fatalities involving new drivers. This is to protect them, and no, I do not think it gay. They are too inexperienced to drive in the Houston metro. As far as breaking the restrictions, how about no drivers license until you are 18 years old age? I think that fits the crime.

We all have to be responsibile and follow the drivers rules and regulations of the state if we are to keep our licenses. This is an earned priviliedge that can be revoked if we do not follow the law. There are far too many accidents that can be prevented. These new rules for new drivers wasn't something that they did to make you miserable. They did an indepth study of every fatality to find out what the most determining factors are that cause fatality accidents when teenage drivers drive.

It's hard to seriously answer this question when the adjective you used to describe the restrictions is "gay". I finally broke my 13 year old of saying that to describe everything, you have to be older than that.

Have you visited their site to find out why the restrictions are like that and maybe look into the penalty? I would recommend that.

Come to NV....ours are way worse than TX.

But to answer your question.......I'm tired of seeing teens driving wreckless, causing hazards, killing people in street races all in an effort at being "cool." So do I think the laws are "gay," no...as a matter of fact, I think they should be more harsh.

46 other states and DC have a program a good deal like the "new" one Texas implemented. And yes, it's very very gay to try to save lives.
