Yes, Progressive will raise your rate after one accident . You may want to try getting a quote online. I am paying less than ½ of what I was before.

Most companies will raise the rates since you represent a higher risk to them, on the other hand if you weren't in fault at the accident, first make sure that it shows on the police report and make sure that they have a copy of that report but if you were in fault look for different quotes to make sure which company would give you the best rate,

I had progressive, I DUMPED them fast, and got a better rate .
