I just want to know what has more power a 6 speed standard or a 5 spd CVT sportronic tranny for a 3.5 altima coupe

I was totally unaware this car existed until a friend of mine drove me somewhere. I was impressed. I'm in the market for a car and may look into the Mazda 3. But is there a dark side to this car I should be aware of?

My car is making a squeaking/chipring sound. It's only when it is in drive, and never when it's idling. It has a pattern to it (chirp cirp chirp, chirp, chirp...) and it's pretty constant. I don't know if a belt is starting to slip or what, but I really need help figuring out what it is.

I put very light coats of spray window tint and let it dry, then I sanded it with very fine 1500grit sandpaper and washed it up. After it it was all dry I then put a few layers of this Krylon Crystal Clear spray I got from walmart to give it the glossy look, but all the clear spray was doing was making it turn grey. Does anyone have a solution?

I was thinking it just might be the brand of clear Im using. Is there a special clearcoat I need to buy, or am I missing a step?

Hi, I have a dodge ram with the 5.9L Cummins turbo diesel, i have it modified to push about 100 hp over stock, and about 190-250ft-lbs over stock, will my stock tranny be able to hold up to this, and if not...what should I do to make it hold up??
I am done modifying the engine's performance and MUST do something with my tranny if I have to. I tow once in a while, but mainly highway and in town driving..... Anything would help!

i have a 1998 ford contour gl. i have about 2 grand to throw into it but do you think that it is worth putting any money into it. Like rims an svt body kit that i was gunna get for like 600. then mabe throw some preformance parts into it or do an engine swap. do you think that it is worth it or should i just save up for a new car if so what kind of car should i get.

My 1999 dodge ram 2500 stalled on me 5 weeks ago and no one can seem to find the problem. I had to have it towed to a garage and they think it might be the fuel injector pump. The 'check engine' bulb is on and the truck just won't star anymore. HELP!!!!

Rust proofing package is still under warranty but the rust proofing company will not fix for free. They are saying it is just surface rust. Auto repair shops I have taken it to say it will rust through in a matter of weeks.
