I put very light coats of spray window tint and let it dry, then I sanded it with very fine 1500grit sandpaper and washed it up. After it it was all dry I then put a few layers of this Krylon Crystal Clear spray I got from walmart to give it the glossy look, but all the clear spray was doing was making it turn grey. Does anyone have a solution?

I was thinking it just might be the brand of clear Im using. Is there a special clearcoat I need to buy, or am I missing a step?

When clear coat turns cloudy it is to humid out side. Better Clear may be the answer. You have to just mist on very light coats of clear to prevent runs ,cloudy and you can sand between coats then buff with rubbing compound when reattached and mask off the truck paint with 2" MASKING TAPE. the buffing step should really shine up the lenses. Sorry I would have to fail that truck during a safety inspection in Texas.

Its because you spray painted you tail light... and got your stuff from wal mart. Why did you spray paint it, whats wrong with you. Should've went with tint instead.
