i have a 5.4l 1997 ford expedtion eddie bauer ediotion, my front front shocks are air controlled, but how do i activate the cylinoid or add air to them i cant find a valve???

also lets say i buy a used BMW 300 series with about 40-60K miles on it.

would this be a good buy? cause i always see these going for about 15,000 with that many miles on it and used in the 300 series of BMW's

The battery on my 2003 Ford Thunderbird is dead. I'd like to use jumper cables, but I can't find the battery. I suspect it may be in the trunk (along with the manual), but I can't get the trunk open due to the dead battery. Any ideas?

these type of cars...civics...with little v4 engines! how much money would they put in it to make it peform as a good as a mustang (gt), trans am, or infinit g35 something that is meant for racing....would you spend alot less money and get just as good performance in a car? or would it just maybe be faster....I don't care that much for speed as long as its not slow....I mean after you put a turbocharger on that civic or something or a supercharger etc...to the point where you made it fast....it really wouldn't save you that much money on gas anywhere right even if it is a v4 ...I have nothing against hondas...there reliable cars and get good gas mileage..but it does look lame on the streeet when it sounds like a lawnmower and if its like a hatchback it looks funny....looks like fast and the furious wannabes that is so old already

i have a red BMW 316 and i want to change the colour of the entire car, the prices i have been quoted for the re spray are upwards of £1500. i have been looking at salvage yards and they sell complete BMW's for far less than that ( -£400) and my question is can i buy a a 2nd black BMW from a salvage yard and swap the body panels from 1 to the other.
i dnt know if it would b a case of just un-screwing and re-screwing but even if i had to go to a garage to do it i cn't imagine it costing more than an entire re-spray?

i just order the the 330 i coupe titanium silver exterior coral red leather interior with aluminum trim what do you think of the combo? i like it but i would like to read your point of views and your best combo's personaly i am in love with the red interior and the dealer only has it with silver exterior that is comin in sept.

the other question is that i saw some pic and some of the steering wheels had 2 metal thingies with in the steering wheel what are they?

I have a loss of power problem that is worse when the car is idling and first starts up. I also have a bad shake when idling. Sometimes this shake is forward and back and sometimes it is left to right. I also have a lot of smelly white smoke when starting up and idling.
I've had the fuel injectors replaced (non-mercedes injectors - should I change them to mercedes parts?)
I've also replaced the fuel injector pump. After this was installed the car still had the shake sometimes but the power was great and there was no white smoke. It was fine for 50miles and then it was back to normal.
My mechanic wants to now:
change the head gasket
valve cover gasket
camshaft
valves
and filters
After reading other posts maybe he should also do this:
Diesel Purge- run through injector pump
ATF - quart (only do sometimes- or will clog injectors)
use Mobil 1 SYN or run DELO 15W-40 oil
Change Transmission filter
use transmission fluid = Mobil 1 75W-90

Anyone have advice on order of troubleshooting?
