I was thinking about buying a 95' 3000GT SL (obviously used), and it has just over 92,000 miles on it. I know Honda's and Toyota's last you FOREVER if you take care of them, but I was just wondering if that car would last me atleast past 150,000 miles if I took care of it.

The 3000GT was junk from the start and now that its almost 13 years old you would need a small fortune to keep it running.

people today worry too much about mileage on cars. today they run for ever. provided you change the oil and filter and look after them.
i had a citreon with 250.000 on the clock and took it to a garage to px, and explained i loved the car and wanted to keep it but the miles were high.
"tahats nothing came the reply look at this"
he showed me the identical car with over 440.000 on the clock and stated it had never been any problem.
buy the car and moan about the miles, that way you get a good cheap car, good luck

In Japan, many taxis use Mitsubishi Garants. They normally last 200 to 300 thousand Kms, about the same as Toyota and Nissan ones.

It all depends on maintenance and how it was driven.

It all depends on the previous owners dedication to maintenance, especially oil and air filter changes.. Try and find any oil change stickers on the vehicle, this should give you a clue.. Mitsubishi,s are good vehicles.. 2001 montero sport owner
