to snowie ;) the 328i and the 335 are the american models here in kuwait we get the 320i 325i 330i and the 335i and what i am talking about is the 330 2008 the model did not change its just that its almost the end of the year so they get the car as 2008 that does not mean that the model have changed from 2007 to 2008 ;) but what do you think of the color combo?

There are no 330i coupes in the 2008 model year. Just 328i or 335i (or the similar xi models).

Are you sure it's a 2008 model?

Edit: thanks for pointing that out. Sorry for thinking you were in the US.

I think you are very lucky to be able to customize your interior and exterior colors to something uniquely you. We don't even have such a color option here in the US.

In the end of the day, you will be the person spending the most time in the car, so it is important that you feel comfortable with the color combination. I personally think having a contrasting interior versus exterior colors makes the car quite interesting and unique; and would definitely be noticed by your friends and family. Make sure you buy some red BMW carpet mats to match!

I was fortunate enough to be able to order my first BMW back in 1995 under the BMW Individual program. The car came with blue seats and door panel inserts. I still think it's very special... and yes, I got some blue BMW carpet mats too!

Edit 2: Matt is right, regarding the steering wheel, I think the metallic things you saw were shift pedals. It has similar functions for both left and right side (to suit left and right handers). You can shift up and down using one hand. You shift by pushing the pedal towards you or away from you to up/down shift on either side of the wheel.

It'll look great, trust me. BMW does red leather rather tastefully without looking over the top. Of course I'm biased, my Mazda has red leather...

As for the metal thingies, you're probably looking at the shift paddles for the automatic transmission. They allow you to choose select the gear like a manual transmission without the joy (or pain, as some might say) of a clutch pedal.

I wish the 330i was our base model coupe here in the US, sigh...
