The battery on my 2003 Ford Thunderbird is dead. I'd like to use jumper cables, but I can't find the battery. I suspect it may be in the trunk (along with the manual), but I can't get the trunk open due to the dead battery. Any ideas?

The 2003 T-bird has the battery located in the passenger side of the trunk. To open the trunk with a dead battery, open the drivers door, flip the seat forward and you should find the trunk lock cylinder, it is hooked to the luggage lid latch via cable.

I've heard it was under the right front fender weld. & U could use one of those jumpers that plug into the cigar lightersocket-butt watch it close because some of thoes things go up in smoke.
