I have a 2005 nissan altima and I disconnected the battery and now the sunroof will not close and I could not find any fuse for the sunroof

The battery is back on

The sunroof is half way open and the tilt will not work eithier

Here it is use the tilt down switch to open the roof a little. Then use the tilt switch up to completely close the roof after tilt up the roof gos flush and then push and hold the tilt up for ten seconds in the fully closed posistion. (reset) Now when you move sunroof switch to full open it will automatically run back then slide the sunroof switch to full closed it will run foward and stop fully closed. Good luck (easy) fix

Ok you have to retrain the computer that controls the sunroof.
1.pushing the tilt button until the sunroof opens all the way and then keep pushing it till the roof closes then it will be trained and it will work fine.

There has to be a fuse or circuit breaker some where in the system. If there was not and you had short in the wiring you would have a wiring fire. Engineers who design electrical systems would never build a system without some kind of protection in it. And that's just good common since.
