What is the car model year and miles engine size. Most the time cars do not come with any extra wiring and you have to install sending units and wire them up your self. Volt meter right to the ingnition on wire and ground. screw in a temp sender thermostat housing or intake manifold, run a wire. Place a 1/4" pipe thread T on the oil pressure switch location so you can use the new oil pressure sender and most cars you have to have the warning light switch also. run another wire

If you are refering to the Jeep system..and I will address the Cherokee, it is a ribbon connector just behing the complete gauge consol above the steering wheel.
