Im looking at an 1999 Audi A4 at a local dealer, the price they want is $8,995 and it has 95,517 miles on it. Is this a good deal? its in really good cond. overall, just dont know how many miles an Audi acts up at.

Why pay premium for a Mazda product when you can get the same species under a different brand name? In some cases cheaper. A Volvo will always cost more than a Mazda. A Mazda Tribute will have a greater cost than a Ford Escape and a Mercury Mariner will trump both. Why? What more are we getting for our dollar?

(single cab long bed) My income is average, so don't suggest something outgragious. it's a v6. everything is stock, exept for tune ups (new batt, tires, ofcorse). What do you need for a supercharger? better transmisstion if it's stock? i have been warned not to burn out, might drop the trany, figureativly. Is glass pack too loud? i just want to be able to hear it, can't with a v6 and stock mufflers. idk where to start?

Assuming you have either worked on Volvo S40 and/or been trained on the technical aspects. Based on the specs/parts that make up the car; from the standpoint of a manufacturer who has invested in the engineering of the vehicle. Between Volvo and Mazda, which brand is more mechanically sound, and which is better built from a manufacturing and technical standpoint. And why in your opinion is this so? This is primarily a research and development question.

I don't have fancy equipment- can't I just jump two of the wires in the diagnostic port to retrieve trouble codes via flashes of the check engine light? I've done it on other cars, but I don't have the book for this one. The check engine light is on, so I know that it has thrown a code.

My 93 Z28 use to be in pristine condition. it only has 75k miles and all maintenance work has been kept up. Just recently, I noticed it starting to get ever so slightly sluggish, I thought it was my imagination. About 2 days ago it really started getting sluggish, and I have to give a little bit more gas than I usually do to accelerate and at the same time the motor is running a little more rough. I thought maybe it was congested or it was just working something out so I gave it 75% throttle and it backfired a couple times? I noticed now when I give it a lot of gas like that it will occasionally backfire. I checked the oil and coolant, they have not mixed so it's not a blown headgasket. I also noticed a weird smell coming from the car today, some sort of burning smell. My first guess about all of this is some sort of fuel issue, maybe it's running to rich or too lean? O2 sensor maybe? I'm not a Camaro expert or even very familiar with domestics, so I'm hoping someone here can help?

This old bug (in need of mechanical and body work) had been sitting out in a backyard for 6 years, by the time I got it. When I tried to start it I found that the battery was dead and wouldn't take a charge. I bought a new six volt battery and the motor turns over, but even with new gas, won't start.
From my coil wire, I got a very faint spark, but now get next to nothing. Bad coil? Bad voltage regulator? Anything else to look for, that may produce a low spark?
Would like to get it running so I can move it around my yard to the barn where I can work on it.

i mean something along the lines of a jaguar XK8. ESPECIALY the interior.

between the prices of 15-22 thousand. and probably like around 65 thousand miles on it

I have a 1980 Chevy truck. It's a heavy half I just had it restored. I have a question about lighting. Before I started on my truck the right tail light was very dim, which told me I had a grounding problem. After getting it back I was hooking everything back up and I grounded the tail lights. The lights are the same brightness now. But, now my tail lights and front park lights do not work when the headlights are on at night. The brake and turn signals still work though. Any ideas on how to fix this? Thanks!
