Actaully back when I sold Fords all were limited to 117mph including the SVT's. Not sure how it is today.

The electronic limiter is set at 159 and they will do this with in 2 miles. (maybe even around 1 mile) I dont want to say where because i dont want to get anyone in trouble but because of my backround as a firefighter I was able to talk a cop into letting my do a run on a shut down portion of a freeway at 11pm at night before the construction guys got there while my cobra was still stock. (I dont know about other states but here in Az during the summer months expecially, a lot of the freeway construction is done at night) I didnt clock the time or exact distance but my cobras limiter hit at 159 and Im pretty sure it took less then 2 miles. I havent had a chance to do anymore legal passes since my limiter has been removed since I got mods done and a SCT tune but stock I think I could have gotten another 10mph out of her without the limiter. My cobra stock made 375rwhp and 380 rwtq which is in the ball park of 430-450 flywheel hp and tq I believe. I dont remember the exact formula buy I know im close. The 2000 Cobra R makes 385 fly wheel hp and 385tq and has no limiter. That car does 175mhp. Even though the cobra has more hp and tq its aerodynamics are not as good and it has more wieght then the Cobra R so I bet my stock non limiter guess of 170 for the 03/04 cobra is pretty close. I now make 535rwhp and 555rwtq and I wonder how far over 200 I could go. Im not sure if my gear set up will allow me to go 200, I have stock gears so I might run out of RPM before I run out of hp and before I reach 200mhp. I would also need to put a different spoiler on (like the cobra R's) to make sure I stay on the ground. Getting airborne would probally not work out very good for me.

if you take the limiter off, they should do close to 150 mph, considering a 1986 SVO would do 140 mph
